Marissa is a Savannah native who gained over 10 years of experience in the birth community before becoming a midwife. She holds a master's degree from Georgia College and State University - Go Bobcats! She is passionate about trauma-informed, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's healthcare needs.

When she's not with moms and babies, you can find her spending time with her family, cooking, and caring for her chickens.

She is also passionate about photography, whether in her backyard or capturing a baby's first moments. Outside of birthwork, she spends her time home-schooling her children and running her homestead.
